(Potentially) Frequently Asked Questions (maybe)

How should I RSVP?

Text, email, or call us. However you normally stay in touch is fine.

What's the dress code again?

Dressy but casual. We're thinking untucked button-downs, dark pants, and comfortable shoes, but wear whatever makes you feel good—up to and including a three-piece suit!

What if I want to give a gift?

We really appreciate it, and we certainly won't say no, however, we've both been very fortunate in our lives and don't need much!

If you'd like to share the love with someone who needs it more than us, consider donating to The Trevor Project, which is the leading suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit for LGBTQ+ young people.

Can I bring my kids?

Nope. We are hosting in a bar, after all 😉

What hotels do you recommend?

No clue. Everything's expensive. We're sorry.

Where should we eat in RVA?

Text us what you like, we have an extensive list of options.

What does "intimate dinner" mean?

There will be no formal ceremony, so we're just hosting a small dinner with about 30 people.

The event starts at 5:30pm and there will be appetizers and drinks, and then dinner around 6:30pm. Open bar closes at 7:30pm, cash bar after that. Lewis is going to try to make a wedding cake all by himself. We'll see how that goes, so we're not sure about dessert plans yet. Either way, we'll be hanging out until 9:30pm when Birdie's opens back up to the public.
